2009 TOP BODS ON CAMPUS – Season 2

By Brad Bloom

Get ready to meet six high performing college students. They excel in academic strength and physical fitness. For them, their Christian faith isn’t just a religious routine or family heritage. It is a driving force in how they live each day and a significant focus in their career development. They’re not just smart and healthy. They are committed to building their whole life to be in shape for a higher calling.

Faith & Fitness Magazine introduces Brad, David, Elisabeth, Evan, Shelby and Wade our season 2 picks for Top Bods On Campus. In an era where college life for students is often marked by excessive self-indulgence, partying and a me-first attitude, these students reveal a passion for the enduring values of their faith. Among a generation that equates the university years as a high-priced right of passage to privilege, advantage and wealth, these students see their journey as a gift to prepare for service. They recognize that a greater wealth can be achieved as they give their knowledge, physical strength and vocational passion to God for the good of others.

We congratulate the universities for their role in shaping the lives of these students. We celebrate with the parents who are daily discovering that God is faithful to bless their obedience in raising their children. To our readers – we extend to you some of the best examples of ‘faith and fitness’. These top bods embody determination, commitment, patience, vision and compassion – qualities that when lifted up from a Christian worldview will transform campuses, communities and generations.
